Set Variables

Set one or more typed variables for the rest of this execution, readable via {{runtimeVariables.name}}

Use it in a workflow

Add a step and choose the Variable connector.
Pick the Set Variables action (under logic).
Fill in the fields below, then reference the result from later steps as {{setVariables.response.data}}.

valuestringrequired

Always a JSON string, even for a boolean/number/object/array Type — write "true" or "42" or '{"a":1}', never a bare true or 42. A whole {{...}} expression is resolved and used as-is instead (its type is preserved, not coerced from Type).

defaultValuestring

Used only when Value resolves to null or undefined — a {{...}} expression referencing a field that does not exist, say. Same format as Value: a JSON string like "true" or "42", or a whole {{...}} expression. Leave blank to store null/undefined as-is.
