Get Variable

Read a single runtime variable set earlier in this execution

Use it in a workflow

Add a step and choose the Variable connector.
Pick the Get Variable action (under logic).
Fill in the fields below, then reference the result from later steps as {{getVariable.response.data}}.

Fields

namestringrequired

The variable's name.

typestring

Used to coerce Default value when the variable isn't set. Has no effect otherwise — an existing value keeps its own type.

defaultValuestring

Used only when the variable isn't set yet. Always a JSON string, even for a boolean/number/object/array Type — write "true" or "42" or '{"a":1}', never a bare true or 42. A whole {{...}} expression is resolved and used as-is instead. Leave blank for no default.
