Creates a conversation

POST/conversations

Use it in a workflow

  1. Add a step and choose the Intercom connector.
  2. Pick the Create Conversation action (under Conversations).
  3. Fill in the fields below, then reference the result from later steps as {{createConversation.response.data}}.

Enter the body as JSON in the step's Body field.

The role associated to the contact - user or lead.

The identifier for the contact which is given by Intercom.

The content of the message. HTML is not supported.

subjectstring

The title of the email. Only applicable if the message type is email.

attachment_urlsarray<string (uri)>

A list of image URLs that will be added as attachments. You can include up to 10 URLs.

created_atinteger (date-time)

The time the conversation was created as a UTC Unix timestamp. If not provided, the current time will be used. This field is only recommneded for migrating past conversations from another source into Intercom.

brand_idstring

The unique identifier of the brand to associate with this conversation.

Response

Returns 200 with a any. Read it in later steps with {{createConversation.response.data.<field>}}.
