Send a prompt to a model on Azure AI Foundry and get its reply

Use it in a workflow

  1. Add a step and choose the Azure AI Foundry connector.
  2. Pick the Generate Text action (under ai).
  3. Fill in the fields below, then reference the result from later steps as {{generateText.response.data}}.

Your deployment name in the Foundry resource, e.g. gpt-5-mini or claude-haiku-4-5.

temperaturenumber

0 is focused and repeatable, higher is more varied. Leave empty for the model's default.

maxTokensnumber

Longest reply, in tokens.

Default 1024

systemstring

Optional instructions for how the model should behave.
