Create Embeddings

Turn text into embedding vectors with an embedding deployment

Use it in a workflow

  1. Add a step and choose the Azure AI Foundry connector.
  2. Pick the Create Embeddings action (under ai).
  3. Fill in the fields below, then reference the result from later steps as {{createEmbeddings.response.data}}.

Fields

modelstringrequired

An embedding deployment, e.g. text-embedding-3-small.

inputstringrequired

Text to embed, or a JSON list of texts, e.g. ["first", "second"].

dimensionsnumber

Optional shorter vector length, for models that support it.
