Update tag by ID

PUT/settings/tags/{id}

Use it in a workflow

  1. Add a step and choose the Zoho CRM connector.
  2. Pick the Update tag by ID action (under Tags).
  3. Fill in the fields below, then reference the result from later steps as {{updateTagById.response.data}}.

Path parameters

idstringrequired

Specify the unique ID of the tag.

Query parameters

modulestringrequired

Specify the API name of the module. Refer to the [Get Modules](https://www.zoho.com/crm/developer/docs/api/v8/modules-api.html) resource for valid values.

idstringrequired

Specify the unique ID of the tag to update.

Request body

Enter the body as JSON in the step's Body field.

tagsarray<object>required

Represents an array of tag objects to update. The array can contain a maximum of one item.

namestringrequired

Specify the name of the tag. The maximum allowed length is 26 characters.

color_codestring | null

Specify the hex color code for the tag, such as **#FF0000**. Set to null to remove the assigned color.

Response

Returns 200 with an object. Read it in later steps with {{updateTagById.response.data.<field>}}.

Represents an array containing the result of the tag update operation.

codestring

Represents the operation result code for the tag.

detailsobject7 fields

Represents the detailed metadata of the tag, including timestamps, the tag name, color code, and the users who created and last modified it.

messagestring

Represents the operation result message for the tag.

Represents the status of the tag operation.
