Change a custom view's sort order

PUT/settings/custom_views/{id}/actions/change_sort

Use it in a workflow

  1. Add a step and choose the Zoho CRM connector.
  2. Pick the Change a custom view's sort order action (under Metadata).
  3. Fill in the fields below, then reference the result from later steps as {{changeACustomViewSSortOrder.response.data}}.

Path parameters

idstring (int64)required

Specify the unique ID of the Custom View. Use the [Get Custom View API](custom_views.yaml#$.paths./settings/custom_views.get) to retrieve the custom view IDs.

Query parameters

modulestringrequired

Specify the API name of the module for which to manage Custom Views. Refer to the Use the [Get Modules API](modules.yaml#$.paths./settings/modules.get) to retrieve module IDs.resource for valid values.

Enter the body as JSON in the step's Body field.

custom_viewsarray<object>required

Specify the sort order configuration to apply to the Custom View.

sort_byobjectrequired2 fields

Represents a reference to a field in the Custom View, identified by its API name and unique ID.

sort_orderstringrequired

Specify the sort order for the Custom View. Possible values: **asc** - Ascending order. **desc** - Descending order.

Response

Returns 200 with an object. Read it in later steps with {{changeACustomViewSSortOrder.response.data.<field>}}.
