Send Message

Send a message to an SQS queue

Use it in a workflow

  1. Add a step and choose the AWS SQS connector.
  2. Pick the Send Message action (under sqs).
  3. Fill in the fields below, then reference the result from later steps as {{sendMessage.response.data}}.

Fields

The URL of the SQS queue

The message body

delaySecondsnumber

The number of seconds to delay the message (0-900)

messageAttributesstring

JSON object with message attributes (e.g., {"key": {"StringValue": "value", "DataType": "String"}})

messageDeduplicationIdstring

The deduplication ID for FIFO queues

messageGroupIdstring

The group ID for FIFO queues
