blog

Retrieves a Blog by its handle or ID. A blog organizes Article objects for the online store and includes author information, SEO settings, and custom Metafield objects.

Use it in a workflow

  1. Add a step and choose the Shopify Storefront connector.
  2. Pick the blog action (under Blog).
  3. Fill in the fields below, then reference the result from later steps as {{blog.response.data}}.

Query

This is the query the action sends by default. Edit it in the step's Query field to change which fields come back.

graphql
query Blog($handle: String, $id: ID) {
  blog(handle: $handle, id: $id) {
    authors {
      bio
      email
      firstName
      lastName
      name
    }
    handle
    id
    onlineStoreUrl
    seo {
      description
      title
    }
    title
  }
}

Variables

Pass these as a JSON object in the step's Variables field.

handlestring

The handle of the `Blog`.

idstring

The ID of the `Blog`.
