Track an event that a user performed

Use it in a workflow

  1. Add a step and choose the Segment connector.
  2. Pick the Track action (under segment).
  3. Fill in the fields below, then reference the result from later steps as {{track.response.data}}.

Fields

Name of the event

anonymousIdstring

Anonymous identifier for the user

timestampstring (date-time)

ISO 8601 timestamp (e.g., 2024-01-01T00:00:00Z)

contextstring

JSON object with context (e.g., {"ip":"192.168.1.1","userAgent":"Mozilla/5.0"})

integrationsstring

JSON object with integration settings (e.g., {"All":true,"Salesforce":false})
