Run Category Rules

Submit a job to evaluate or execute the rules.

POST/organizations/{organizationId}/catalogs/{catalogId}/categories/{categoryId}/rules-execution

Use it in a workflow

  1. Add a step and choose the Salesforce Commerce Cloud connector.
  2. Pick the Run Category Rules action (under Catalogs (Data API)).
  3. Fill in the fields below, then reference the result from later steps as {{runCategoryRules.response.data}}.

The ID of the category to be created.

The ID of the requested catalog.

organizationIdstringrequired

An identifier for the organization the request is being made by

Enter the body as JSON in the step's Body field.

evaluationbooleanrequired

A flag indicating whether only an evaluation job needs to be performed.

Response

Returns 202 with a any. Read it in later steps with {{runCategoryRules.response.data.<field>}}.
