Add Taxes For Basket Item

Add taxation information for a basket item.

PUT/organizations/{organizationId}/baskets/{basketId}/items/{itemId}/taxes

Use it in a workflow

Add a step and choose the Salesforce Commerce Cloud connector.
Pick the Add Taxes For Basket Item action (under Shopper Baskets v1).
Fill in the fields below, then reference the result from later steps as {{addTaxesForBasketItem.response.data}}.

Request

Path parameters

organizationIdstringrequired

An identifier for the organization the request is being made by

itemIdstringrequired

The ID of the item to be updated.

basketIdstringrequired

The ID of the basket to be modified.

Query parameters

siteIdstringrequired

The identifier of the site that a request is being made in the context of. Attributes might have site specific values, and some objects may only be assigned to specific sites.

Request body

Enter the body as JSON in the step's Body field.

taxItemsarray<object>

The list of tax items. It is read only.

idstringrequired

The taxation identifier.

ratenumber (double)required

The taxation rate.

valuenumber (double)

The tax amount. Will be computed if not set.

Response

Returns 204 with a any. Read it in later steps with {{addTaxesForBasketItem.response.data.<field>}}.
