Get Recommendations

Get related, complementary or trending items for a product or a whole cart, computed from your own order history

Use it in a workflow

Add a step and choose the Recommendations connector.
Pick the Get Recommendations action (under database).
Fill in the fields below, then reference the result from later steps as {{getRecommendations.response.data}}.

Fields

recommendationSetSlugstringrequired

Which recommendation set to use, by slug. Can also be a variable, e.g. {{variables.recommendationSetSlug}}.

strategystringrequired

Which strategy to read — must be turned on for this recommendation set: frequently_bought_together, collaborative_filtering, related_by_similarity, or trending.

anchorKeystring

A single item id being viewed, for frequently_bought_together, collaborative_filtering, and related_by_similarity. For trending, a scope: "__global__", or "<facet>:<value>" like "category:snowboards" when that strategy has a facet configured. Ignored when Cart Items is also set.

anchorKeysstring

A cart or basket's item ids, comma-separated or a JSON array — for recommending what goes with everything already added. Takes precedence over Anchor when both are set; results are pooled across all of them and anything already in the cart is excluded.

maxResultsstring

Results to return. Defaults to the strategy's own configured limit.
