Create Event

Create an event in Klaviyo

Use it in a workflow

  1. Add a step and choose the Klaviyo connector.
  2. Pick the Create Event action (under klaviyo).
  3. Fill in the fields below, then reference the result from later steps as {{createEvent.response.data}}.

Fields

metricNamestringrequired

Name of the event metric (e.g., Ordered Product, Placed Order)

profilestringrequired

JSON string with profile identifier (e.g., {"email": "user@example.com"} or {"external_id": "123"})

propertiesstring

Optional JSON string with event properties (e.g., {"order_id": "12345", "total": 100.00})

timestring

Event time in ISO 8601 format (defaults to now)
