Drive.files.generate Ids

Generates a set of file IDs which can be provided in create or copy requests.

GET/files/generateIds

Use it in a workflow

  1. Add a step and choose the Google Drive connector.
  2. Pick the Drive.files.generate Ids action (under files).
  3. Fill in the fields below, then reference the result from later steps as {{driveFilesGenerateIds.response.data}}.

altstring

Data format for the response.

Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial response.

keystring

API key. Your API key identifies your project and provides you with API access, quota, and reports. Required unless you provide an OAuth 2.0 token.

oauth_tokenstring

OAuth 2.0 token for the current user.

prettyPrintboolean

Returns response with indentations and line breaks.

quotaUserstring

An opaque string that represents a user for quota purposes. Must not exceed 40 characters.

userIpstring

Deprecated. Please use quotaUser instead.

countinteger

The number of IDs to return.

spacestring

The space in which the IDs can be used to create new files. Supported values are 'drive' and 'appDataFolder'. (Default: 'drive')

typestring

The type of items which the IDs can be used for. Supported values are 'files' and 'shortcuts'. Note that 'shortcuts' are only supported in the drive 'space'. (Default: 'files')

Response

Returns 200 with an object. Read it in later steps with {{driveFilesGenerateIds.response.data.<field>}}.

idsarray<string>

The IDs generated for the requesting user in the specified space.

kindstring

Identifies what kind of resource this is. Value: the fixed string "drive#generatedIds".

Default "drive#generatedIds"

spacestring

The type of file that can be created with these IDs.
