Drive.files.delete

Permanently deletes a file owned by the user without moving it to the trash. If the file belongs to a shared drive the user must be an organizer on the parent. If the target is a folder, all descendants owned by the user are also deleted.

Use it in a workflow

  1. Add a step and choose the Google Drive connector.
  2. Pick the Drive.files.delete action (under files).
  3. Fill in the fields below, then reference the result from later steps as {{driveFilesDelete.response.data}}.

API key. Your API key identifies your project and provides you with API access, quota, and reports. Required unless you provide an OAuth 2.0 token.

OAuth 2.0 token for the current user.

Returns response with indentations and line breaks.

quotaUserstring

An opaque string that represents a user for quota purposes. Must not exceed 40 characters.

userIpstring

Deprecated. Please use quotaUser instead.

enforceSingleParentboolean

Deprecated. If an item is not in a shared drive and its last parent is deleted but the item itself is not, the item will be placed under its owner's root.

supportsAllDrivesboolean

Whether the requesting application supports both My Drives and shared drives.

supportsTeamDrivesboolean

Deprecated use supportsAllDrives instead.

Response

Returns 200 with a any. Read it in later steps with {{driveFilesDelete.response.data.<field>}}.
