Register a new user in a Cognito User Pool

Use it in a workflow

  1. Add a step and choose the AWS Cognito connector.
  2. Pick the Sign Up action (under cognito).
  3. Fill in the fields below, then reference the result from later steps as {{signUp.response.data}}.

Fields

clientIdstringrequired

The client ID of the Cognito User Pool App Client (alphanumeric characters, underscores, and plus signs only)

usernamestringrequired

The username for the user

passwordstringrequired

The password for the user

clientSecretstring

The client secret of the Cognito App Client. Required if your App Client has a secret configured.

emailstring (email)

The user's email address

phoneNumberstring

The user's phone number (E.164 format)

userAttributesstring

JSON object with user attributes (e.g., {"given_name":"John","family_name":"Doe"})
