Refresh Token

Refresh an access token using a refresh token

Use it in a workflow

  1. Add a step and choose the AWS Cognito connector.
  2. Pick the Refresh Token action (under cognito).
  3. Fill in the fields below, then reference the result from later steps as {{refreshToken.response.data}}.

Fields

clientIdstringrequired

The client ID of the Cognito User Pool App Client (alphanumeric characters, underscores, and plus signs only)

refreshTokenstringrequired

The refresh token obtained from a previous authentication

clientSecretstring

The client secret of the Cognito App Client. Required if your App Client has a secret configured.

usernamestring

The username used during original authentication. Required for SECRET_HASH computation if client secret is configured. Must match EXACTLY what was used during sign-in.

idTokenstring

The ID token from a previous authentication. If provided, the username will be extracted from this token for SECRET_HASH computation.
