Set User Password

Sets the password for a user in a Cognito User Pool (admin operation)

Use it in a workflow

  1. Add a step and choose the AWS Cognito connector.
  2. Pick the Set User Password action (under cognito).
  3. Fill in the fields below, then reference the result from later steps as {{setUserPassword.response.data}}.

Fields

userPoolIdstringrequired

The ID of the user pool

usernamestringrequired

The username for the user

passwordstringrequired

The password for the user. Must meet the password policy requirements of the user pool.

permanentboolean

If true, the password is permanent and the user won't be required to change it on next sign-in. If false, the user will be required to change the password on next sign-in.

Default true
