Update/create a product

PATCH/api/rest/v1/products-uuid/{uuid}

Use it in a workflow

  1. Add a step and choose the Akeneo connector.
  2. Pick the Patch Product Uuid By Uuid action (under Product [uuid]).
  3. Fill in the fields below, then reference the result from later steps as {{patchProductUuidByUuid.response.data}}.

Path parameters

uuidstring (uuid)required

This path parameter is used to specify the unique identifier of the entity you want to retrieve or manipulate. It is essential for identifying the specific entity in the API requests. Ensure that the UUID is correctly formatted and corresponds to an existing entity in the system.

Query parameters

create_missing_optionsstring

When present in the query string (regardless of value), automatically creates missing attribute options during product/product model creation or update. This only works for simple select and multi select attributes that have the `enable_option_creation_during_import` property set to `true` (configurable via the Attribute API).

update_parent_valuesboolean

When set to `true`, allows updating attribute values on the parent product models when patching a variant product. By default, only values owned by the variant product level can be updated.
