List records

GET/{baseId}/{tableIdOrName}

Use it in a workflow

  1. Add a step and choose the Airtable connector.
  2. Pick the List Records action (under Records).
  3. Fill in the fields below, then reference the result from later steps as {{listRecords.response.data}}.

Path parameters

baseIdstringrequired

The Airtable base ID (starts with "app").

tableIdOrNamestringrequired

The table ID (starts with "tbl") or the table's name.

Query parameters

fields[]array<string>

Only return these fields (by name or field ID). Omit to return all fields.

filterByFormulastring

An Airtable formula used to filter records, e.g. "{Status}='Done'".

maxRecordsinteger

The maximum total number of records to return across all pages.

pageSizeinteger

Number of records per page (max 100).

sort[]array<string>

Sort field/direction pairs, e.g. "field=Name" and "direction=asc" as repeated params.

viewstring

The name or ID of a view; filters/sorts/fields from the view apply unless overridden.

cellFormatstring

Format for cell values. Defaults to "json".

Pagination cursor returned by a previous listRecords response, to fetch the next page.

returnFieldsByFieldIdboolean

If true, keys in the returned "fields" object are field IDs rather than field names.

Response

Returns 200 with an object. Read it in later steps with {{listRecords.response.data.<field>}}.
